UPDATE: I-310 concrete work

LULING, La. — Work will not shift to the southbound left lane this week along the Hale Boggs Bridge on I-310 between LA 48 in Destrehan and LA 18 in Luling.

The lane swap will now take place on Tuesday, March 8. The crew is completing concrete work in the southbound right lane.

Currently, work is underway to patch the concrete deck along the Hale Boggs Bridge. When patching is complete in the southbound right lane, work will move to the southbound left lane. After that, work will start on the northbound deck.

In all, roadwork will continue in this area through May, weather permitting.

Updated tentative schedule for lane closures:

January 23 – March 8 – Southbound Outside (Right) Lane Closure

March 8 – March 27 – Southbound Inside (Left) Lane Closure

March 27 – May 1 – Northbound Outside (Right) Lane Closure

May 1 – May 22 – Northbound Inside (Left) Lane Closure
