The Louisiana Legislative Women’s Caucus Foundation, along with the Louisiana women legislators, is currently accepting applications for the 2022 Educational Advancement Opportunity (EAO) Scholarship. Each scholarship is worth $1,000. The number of scholarships to be awarded is dependent upon fundraising efforts. The deadline to apply is Thursday, March 31, 2022.   Applicants can find the scholarship criteria and application online at www.llwcf.org and house.louisiana.gov/llwc. Recipients will be announced in May 2022 and will be recognized at the Louisiana Legislature in late May or early June 2022 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The women legislators along with dedicated sponsors and donors through the LLWC Foundation have been awarding scholarships to deserving women and girls in Louisiana since 2010. To date, $115,000 in scholarships have been awarded to help educate students.
