Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

We are thankful for the opportunity to meet with more members of the St. John the Baptist Parish community this week, and we send a special shoutout to Bailey’s Hot Spot in Edgard, LA, for hosting the grain elevator community meeting.
Community meetings allow us to hear directly from the West Bank residents in St. John the Baptist Parish.

At the community meeting, Dr. Reggie Ross spoke and urged residents to continue doing their own research, as he did. We also encourage residents to hold us accountable throughout each stage of the grain elevator’s development.
Here are some helpful highlights of the Greenfield project to help residents kick off their research:

  • The development will bring 500 construction jobs
  • Once completed, Greenfield will bring 100 permanent, safe, quality-paying jobs to the West Bank.
  • The Greenfield facility will be one of the cleanest in America.
  • Greenfield remains community-based and aimed at supporting West St. John High School and other staples of the West Bank.

Respectfully,

The Greenfield Louisiana team
