LAPLACE — Sheriff Mike Tregre has announced high school seniors from St. John the Baptist Parish may now apply for the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Association $500 Scholarship.

The LSA will award scholarships providing assistance to worthy Louisiana students in furthering their education and training with resources made available through the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Honorary Membership Program.
