St. John public schools & buildings closed Friday due to weather

RESERVE — Exercising an abundance of caution, due to the forecasted winter weather, all St. John the Baptist Parish schools and buildings will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 21, 2022.
All K-8 scholars will work independently at home. Teachers will be accessible to communicate with their scholars via TEAMS throughout the school day. Students are being provided assignments and/or work packets to complete at home.
All high school scholars will receive direct (live) instruction via TEAMS. High school scholars will log in to TEAMS to record their attendance and participate in a regular day of instruction from their teachers via TEAMS.
Schools are anticipated to reopen and follow a normal schedule on Monday, January 24, 2022.
