LAPLACE — Keep St. John Beautiful is pleased to announce a free tree seedlings giveaway of Red Maple to the first 300 residents of St. John who come out to the following parks between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022:

• Westbank – Juan Joseph Park – 50 seedlings
• Garyville – Ezekial Jackson Park – 75 seedlings
• Reserve – Regala Park (in parking lot of gym) – 75 seedlings
• LaPlace – Thomas Daley Memorial Park – 100 seedlings

This event will take place rain or shine. Some seedlings will be set aside to give to each park where the giveaway takes place.

Residents can register at the give-away by giving Keep St. John Beautiful representatives a name and contact number for a chance to win 1 of 6 fruit trees that will be drawn and given away at a later date. Those who cannot make it to the giveaway can still register by emailing keepstjohnbeautiful@gmail.com by January 29 with “Free Fruit Tree Give-Away” in the subject.
