GONZALES – Local author Rachel Davidson recently published an autobiography aimed at inspiring women to break through fear and live with purpose and power. The book chronicles her life story as a young girl born in Brazil who overcomes challenges and obstacles to follow her dreams.
Throughout the book, she reveals her secrets to success. She overcomes fear and anxiety by cultivating a positive mindset, surrounding herself with supportive people, networking and finding the confidence to follow her dreams.
“It was important to me to write this book,” Davidson said. “I want to inspire others to break free of fear and follow their dreams. Everyone has a purpose. We often lose sight of our passions and get stuck in the challenges of life. This can change with one decision. In my book, I teach people how to make that decision and transform their lives. Master your fear, master your destiny.”
To celebrate the launch of the book, Davidson has announced a book signing to take place at 3 p.m. January 8 at Cake That, located at 16113 LA-44 in Prairieville.
The book is available now on Amazon in multiple formats including Kindle, paperback and hardcover with an audio version coming soon.

Davidson is an entrepreneur, recording artist and best-selling author. Her passion is to encourage other women to face their fears and pursue their dreams using a formula she discovered and outlines in her book. Born in the Amazon region of Brazil, she spent her childhood climbing trees, swimming with piranhas and dancing to the beat of Samba before moving back to her mother’s hometown of Gonzales, Louisiana at the age of 11. She has a story to tell and is available for speaking engagements and appearances. She’s been featured on The Geaux Rouge Show, Rock It Right Entertainment Radio and Forbes.
