Pelican Waste Suspends Garbage Service for Christmas Day & New Year’s Day

HAHNVILLE — Pelican Waste & Debris will suspend garbage service for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.  

 Christmas Suspension Information 

There will be no garbage pickup on Saturday, December 25, 2021, in observance of Christmas Day. Regular service will resume on Monday, December 27, 2021.  

 Residents who usually have their garbage picked up on Saturdays will have resumed service on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.  

New Year’s Day Suspension Information 

There will be no garbage pickup on Saturday, January 1, 2021, in observance of New Year’s Day. Regular service will resume on Monday, January 3, 2022.  

Residents who usually have their garbage picked up on Saturdays will have resumed service on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.  

Residents should put out trash receptacles the night before to ensure pickup.
