CONVENT — St. James Parish Government celebrated the milestone achievements of many employees this week who recently made 10-, 15-, 25- and 30-year anniversaries of their careers with the parish government.

A brunch celebration in honor of the 44 employees who achieved employment milestones took place Tuesday, December 7, where each received a plaque commemorating their accomplishment.

Parish President Dufresne noted, “I would like to extend my personal thanks to these great individuals who have committed so much time to our organization, our parish, and our community. Many of our employees work long hours, especially during times of a natural disaster, and all work to provide critical services to our residents each day. I thank each of you and appreciate all that you do for St. James Parish Government.”
