SCSO investigates shooting death at Destrehan Library

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a death in the 100 block of West Campus Drive in Destrehan, LA in the parking lot of the Destrehan Library.
Deputies responded to a 911 call in the area and located a male subject with an apparent gunshot wound inside of a vehicle. At this point in the investigation, the injury appears to have been self-inflicted.
Additional Law Enforcement presence can be expected in the area for the duration of the investigation.
