LUTCHER — COVID Vaccines are now available for adults, teens and children 5 and over. Boosters are being offered to adults meeting certain criteria.

All COVID-19 Vaccines and boosters are administered in St. James Urgent Care (see schedule below). St. James Urgent Care is located in the new entrance of the medical plaza next to St. James Parish Hospital.

At this time all COVID vaccines are being offered on a walk-in basis. Because vaccines have a limited shelf-life, we have created a schedule based on estimated volumes for each option.

This schedule is subject to change based on volumes and availability.

  • Monday – Friday 8am to 8pm
  • Saturday – Sunday 9am to 5pm

  • Tuesdays & Fridays 8am to 8pm

How do I schedule a vaccine?
We no longer require patients to schedule vaccines. Simply view the schedule above and present to St. James Urgent Care on an applicable day.

What type of vaccine is being offered?
At this time, we are administering the PFizer Vaccine, Pfizer Boosters, Pfizer Pediatric Vaccine and Moderna Boosters. During your visit, we will confirm which vaccine is being administered.

Do you offer COVID Vaccines for kids? 
Children age 5 and older are now eligible for the Pfizer COVID Vaccine. St. James Urgent Care offers Pfizer COVID Vaccines on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8am to 8pm.

How do I know if I am eligible for the vaccine?
COVID Vaccines are now available for adults, teens and children 5 and over. The State Department of Health determines which individuals are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. To see a list of eligibility criteria, visit ldh.la.gov.

What is a booster shot and do I qualify?
