The investigation is still in the preliminary stages, but it appears that there were multiple gunshot victims. Deputies and detectives are currently at several different locations conducting the investigation. Deputies are also investigating a crash on River Road in Luling, LA that occurred as one of the victims attempted to commute to a local area hospital for treatment.

One victim is deceased and the conditions of the other victims involved in the shooting is currently unavailable at this time.

The investigation is still active and residents may see additional law enforcement presence in the Killona area throughout the course of the investigation.
