The St. James Sheriff’s Office will be taking part in the D.E.A. National TakeBack Day on Saturday Oct. 23, 2021. Bring your old prescription medications to either the Convent Courthouse or West Bank Sub Office from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. If you can’t make it there on Saturday, the sheriff’s office has secure drop boxes at both locations that are available during normal business hours (M-F from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
