Frank Joseph Girard, Jr. passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the age of 71. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of LaPlace, LA.

Beloved father of Frank Joseph “Joey” Girard, III (Christina). Grandfather of Joseph Michael Roland Girard, Justin Michael Williams, Jr., Maddie Jane Marie Girard, Jemma Mae Girard and Saber Backston. Son of the late Ann Zito and Frank Joseph Girard, Sr. Brother of Janet Girard Thompson. Also survived by Mrs. Norma Boggio who blessed him by living with him and staying by his side for 26 years.

ALSO! Do not miss Franks Memorial and Jam Session on October 30, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It will be held at the last place my dad preformed before his passing at The Blue Crab Restaurant & Oyster Bar, 7900 Lakeshore Dr., New Orleans, LA.  My dad’s long time friend John E. Bezou, Sr.’s Band will be performing, all musicians & friends are welcome. Come jam and share stories after the show.
