WALLACE — Hope and Purpose Ministries returned to St. John the Baptist Parish for a hurricane relief distribution near River Road and the Veterans Memorial Bridge in Wallace on Saturday, October 2.
Approximately 40 volunteers from all over the region joined together to distribute ready to eat food, canned food, fruit, baby formula, cleaning supplies and more, serving about 1,000 people overall. Sheriff Mike Tregre and Parish President Jaclyn Hotard participated in the relief distribution, as well as some church leaders from around the St. John/St. James area.
