Comcast provides update on restoration efforts in LaPlace – October 5

LAPLACE – Comcast announced today it continues to restore Xfinity services for customers in LaPlace, Louisiana. Customers residing near the following intersections should look for services to be restored on or before the following dates:

St Andrews Blvd. and Doral Blvd. 10/5/2021
St Andrews Blvd. and Oak Point Dr. 10/5/2021
Lee Dr. and Delta Dr. 10/5/2021
Great River Rd. and Dufresne Dr. 10/5/2021
LA-18 and W. 3rd St. 10/5/2021
Madewood Dr. and Concord Dr. 10/6/2021
Yorktowne Dr. and Fairway Dr. 10/6/2021
Concordia Dr. and St. Andrews Blvd. 10/7/2021
 

In addition, service is being restored to the following streets on or before October 7: Cartier Drive, Van Arpel Drive, Tiffany Drive, Yorktowne Drive and Welham Loop.

It’s important to note that there may be some instances where access to the customer’s home is compromised, or the equipment in a particular home is damaged. Comcast will need to address these situations on an individual basis.

As a reminder, emergency management procedures dictate that power must be restored first and Comcast must receive clearance that it is safe for crews to begin restoration work.
