News Brief: More than 316K cubic yards of debris collected since Hurricane Ida

LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish provided an update regarding ongoing debris collection in St. John the Baptist.

Approximately 19,600 cubic yards of debris have been picked up daily for a weekend total of 37,072 yards. The total amount of debris collected to date has been 316,607 cubic yards.
