SU Ag Center’s Mobile Technology Unit to participate in LaPlace Hurricane Relief Day

LAPLACE – The Southern University Ag Center’s Mobile Education and Technology Center (M-Tech Unit) has partnered with the Braveheart Foundation and Councilwoman Tyra Duhe-Griffin to participate in a Hurricane Relief Day for the residents of LaPlace.

The event will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church and School, 1900 Greenwood Drive.

The M-Tech Unit will provide internet access for residents to complete and submit their disaster relief documentation.

There will also be distributions of food, supplies, educational information, and the Pfizer vaccine will be available for individuals aged 12 and older.
