TPSO investigates 2 car thefts and several auto burglaries

The TPSO is investigation two car thefts and several car burglaries in the area of CC Road in Bedico early Tuesday morning.
Footage from several residential security cameras show a group of males canvassing the area looking for unlocked vehicles.
Subsequently, they located and stole two unlocked vehicles unlocked with the keys left inside. A handgun was stolen from a third vehicle that was found to be unlocked, however, the keys we not located inside.
Detectives have tracked the last known movements of the stolen vehicles and have a lead on one of the suspects involved in the incident.

Those who wish to provide information anonymously can do so through Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa, Inc. @ (800) 554 – 5245 and earn a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards reminds residents to always remove valuables from their vehicles, especially the keys and any firearms, and keep vehicles locked at all times.
