As recovery continues in the aftermath of Hurricane #Ida, motorists should expect delays in the following locations as electrical and utility companies work to complete repairs.
Lafourche Parish:
LA Hwy 308 between the Bellevue Bridge and the T’bois Bridge will be closed to allow for safe utility repair work.
LA 308 between the North Raceland Lift Bridge and the Theriot Boat Launch will be closed to allow for safe utility repair work.
Motorists are encouraged to utilize LA Hwy 1 in those locations, however caution should be used as utility companies are also present on LA Hwy 1 making repairs.
LA Hwy 1 near West 26th Street for approximately 2 miles will be reduced to one lane of travel to allow for safe utility repair work.
Terrebonne Parish:
LA Hwy 56 and Bayouside Drive between the Klondyke Road Lift Bridge and the LA Hwy 58 Lift Bridge will have utility workers in the area making repairs.
Motorists are encouraged to limit travel to that which is necessary. Use caution around utility and storm response vehicles. Never drive distracted and buckle up.
