St. Charles Parish waives permitting fees during Hurricane Ida recovery

HAHNVILLE – The St. Charles Parish Council adopted an emergency ordinance with the support of President Matthew Jewell to allow the Department of Planning and Zoning to waive local permit fees and various plan review and inspection fees for repairs and renovations required from damage sustained during Hurricane Ida at Tuesday’s council meeting. The emergency ordinance is in effect and will last through February 28, 2022.
