LAPLACE — St. John United Way, Autism Speaks, and Rotary Club of LaPlace will be co-hosting “Dress to Impress” a back-2-school fashion show fundraiser at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 11 to support educational programing for the three organizations.
The fashion show will be held at the Victorious Life Dream Center.
Each of these organizations recognizes the importance for students to have the tools needed for them to be successful in school. The rising cost of school supplies and other needed school related materials requires substantial funds. The organizations strive to offset some of these expenses for students in the community.
To add excitement to the evening festivities, we will be honoring a few notable people from the St. John community by having them serve as “celebrity models” in portions of the runway show. Go to Eventbrite to purchase tickets for the event. Support is needed for this fun and worthy cause to benefit St. John Parish students. Come see all the models slay on the runway.
