LAPLACE — Detectives with the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday, August 3, around 1 p.m., in the 2700 block of Cambridge Drive in LaPlace. Upon arrival, deputies learned two 18-year-old males had been shot and taken by personal vehicle to a local hospital. They were then transported to University Medical Center where they are in stable condition.
