1976 – Llyod B. Johnson was sworn in to serve his official term of office as St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff, by Judge Thomas Malik of the 29th Judicial District Court. Sheriff Johnson actually took over on January 28 to service the unexpired term of Lester Millet, Jr.
