Asphalt work to begin Tuesday in St. Charles Parish

HAHNVILLE – The St. Charles Parish Department of Public Works will work with Barriere Construction to begin asphalt patching throughout the parish, starting Tuesday, July 6. Work will start in Norco and will take place throughout the coming months.

Those affected by the work will be notified via a door hanger at residences before starting, requesting that vehicles be removed from the road so Barriere Construction can perform the job.

Below are the areas where the work will take place listed alphabetically:

Bayou Gauche

Bayou Estates Drive from Bayou Gauche Road – Grand Bayou Drive
Mark Drive from Bayou Gauche Road – Shamrock Drive
Matthew Street from Bayou Gauche Road – Second Street
Michael Drive from Bayou Gauche Road – Dead End
Pleasant Valley Drive from Bayou Gauche Road – Concrete

Boutte

Melonie Street in Boutte from Hwy 90 – Dead End
Woodland Drive in Boutte from River Ridge Drive – Dead End

Luling

Maryland Drive in Luling from Hwy 90 – Dead End
Monsanto Avenue in Luling from Hwy 90 – Primrose Drive
Monsanto Avenue in Luling from Primrose Drive – Dead End
South Kinler Street in Luling from Tinney Street – Dead End

Norco

Ash Street from Pine Street – Acorn Drive
Marino Drive from River Road – Third Street
Norco Street from Third Street – Fifth Street
West B Street from River Road – Third Street
