1994 – Class 5A Outstanding Player, Eric Brown, of East St. John was named the Outstanding Player of the Class 5A All-State squad. The junior shortstop hit .493 with eight home runs and 38 RBIs and was 10-1 with a 1.17 ERA on the mound.
