Village East Fire Protection District and Terrebonne Parish Fire Protection District No. 4A are better equipped to keep all community members safe thanks to a grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. A grant presentation celebrated the award and the partnership between Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, Village East Fire Protection District and Terrebonne Parish Fire Protection District No. 4A.

The event took place on Wednesday, April 28 at the Firehouse Subs Houma location. The Foundation awarded Village East Fire Protection District a grant of $22,526 for five Motorola APX radios and Terrebonne Parish Fire Protection District No. 4A $24,929 for a ONE 1660 Rescue Boat.

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is committed to helping organizations such as Village East Fire Protection District and Terrebonne Parish Fire Protection District No. 4A continue their lifesaving work within local communities. The grant awards ensure Upper Captiva is safer for everyone, including first responders.
