SCSO seeks public’s help regarding a shooting in Montz

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a recent shooting that occurred at 18356 River Road in Montz, LA.
On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, just after midnight, the S.C.S.O. responded to a call related to gunshots in the parking lot of a closed business located in Montz.
During the investigation, a witness claimed seeing two dark or black colored vehicles with their lights on, parked in the parking lot of a closed business. The witness stated that a silver colored SUV then pulled into the parking lot, just prior to hearing multiple gunshots. The witness stated that the vehicles all fled the area immediately after.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
