VACHERIE — A FREE COVID-19 vaccination event will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 17 at First Baptist Church of Vacherie, located at 1244 Magnolia Heights in Vacherie.

All COVID-19 vaccinations are by appointment only. Appointment phone lines will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Call 1-800-228-9409.

Ages 18 and up are eligible with certain factors (see HAN list ex: smoking, overweight, asthma, diabetes type 1 or 2, etc.)

This event is offered through a partnership with the Office of Public Health – Region 3, the LA National Guard, Pastor Johnnie B. Magee, State Representative Ken Brass and residents of the St. James Parish area.
