Students in Mrs. Soignier’s 3rd grade class are celebrating Black History Month.  The students are learning about important African Americans in History.  They have read about, discussed and researched athletes, doctors, scientists, artists and authors.  The students are using what they’ve learned and their creativity to create quilt squares about these important people.  At the end of the month, the quilt squares will be assembled and displayed.  Seen in the picture are:  Bailey Windman, Kinley Donaldson, Lewis Logan, Davit Dumanyan, Reese Araga, Bentley Crooks and Lily Collins.
