2012: LES Middle School Teacher of the Year, left, Shanna Beber has taught for 10 years and is currently a sixth grade math and science teacher. She is also the LES Beta Club Sponsor, member of the PBS committee, Space Camp coordinator and the 2006 St. John the Baptist Parish Elementary Teacher of the Year. Beber is currently working on her Doctorate of Education in Teacher Leadership. Kelly Arnett (right), the LES Elementary School Teacher of the Year, is a 2002 Graduate from Southeastern, the chairperson on the LES second-grad teacher’s committee and has taught second grade for 10 years.
