Joyce Estess Lindsay passed away peacefully at home in Hammond on January 11, 2021 at the age of 79. She was born in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Raymond Estess and Evelyn Woollums Estess. In her youth she moved to Luling, Louisiana where she later met her husband, Harold “Billy” Lindsay. She resided for many years in LaPlace where she enjoyed her life as a homemaker. She was also a gifted miniaturist and was an active member of national and local miniature organizations.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her son Keith Lindsay (Noelle), grandchildren Keira and Shane Lindsay, twin sister Judith McBroom (Mack), sisters Gail Zeringue (Kenneth) and Ann St. Amant (the late Ted), and many dearly loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Private services were held due to Covid considerations.
