Kenneth Allen Bourg, Sr., age 74 of Luling, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021.

 

He was born in Napoleonville, LA and was a resident of Luling, LA.  Kenneth left high school to join in the U.S. Army, where he met his wife of 54 years, Laquita Jean Bourg.  After the serving in the U.S. Army he worked at Hollis Garage, where he washed cars, MSY Airport, where he sorted luggage, Union Carbide as a Distribution Technician, a St. Charles Reserve Deputy and a bus driver for the St. Charles Parish School System.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Laquita Jean Bourg; his parents, Nellie Arcement Bourg and Allen Bourg; and his sister, Janis Dufrene.

Kenneth is survived by his loving children, Kenneth A. Bourg, Jr. (Jackie), Donna Bourg Hobson (Michael) and Gerria Deaun Couvillion (David) and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Kenneth life was fully invested in his family and his wife and he will be deeply missed.
