St. John the Baptist Parish Surplus Auction begins January 6

*** Please note that no St. John the Baptist Parish employee or member of their immediate family can bid on auction items. ***

State law prohibits Parish employees and members of employees’ immediate families from buying items at Parish surplus auction.  This includes an employee’s spouse, children and their spouses, brothers, sisters, spouses of brothers and sisters, parents, and spouse’s parents.

The St. John the Baptist Parish Council will publicly auction surplus vehicles, heavy equipment, lowboy trailer, and firefighting vehicles beginning January 6, 2021 and ending at 9:45 AM Local Time on January 27, 2021.  The auction will be held online at www.govdeals.com/sjbparish

BUYER COMMUNICATION:

All communications (questions/answers) must be posted through the Public Surplus website so the information can be shared by all potential bidders of the site.  No questions will be answered by calling the contact person.

**PLEASE READ ENTIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS**

Pickup must occur by February 11, 2021.  Failure to pick up item by this date shall result in forfeiture of auction item.

Prospective participants may inspect vehicles and trailer, etc. to be sold at the Captain Bourgeois Facility, 425 Captain G. Bourgeois St, LaPlace, LA. 70068 and firefighting equipment at the Woodland Fire Station, 220 Woodland Dr, LaPlace, LA. 70068 at the following time.

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM       Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ending 01.26.2021
