Stormy Lynn Edwards Decker gained her angel wings peacefully on December 28, 2020 surrounded by family and loved ones at her home. In her short forty-six years she was a unique, vibrant and one-of-a-kind ray of sunshine. She was a wife, mother, friend, confidant, and joy to those who knew her. She loved making people feel beautiful. Her eternal smile would and did light up any room. Stormy was an amazing mother to her children whom she loves and adores until eternity.

She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents Margo Edwards, Buddy Genovese, Tony Cusumano and her father-in- law Bobby Jack Decker.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of twenty years, John Decker and her beautiful children Valarie Ambrose ( Mikie); Katelynn Decker; John Decker III and Angel Burgess; her loving parents, Diana and Kenny Cato, Steve and Cathy Edwards. She further leaves her siblings, Brigette Edwards Rushing (John); Buddy Edwards, James Keyes (Jamie); Gary Cato (Michelle), Wesley Cato (Kristen); Billy Cato (Sheryl) her Grandmother Helen Genovese Cusumano, her mother-in-law Carole Decker and her amazing grandchildren whom she cherished, Mikah and Maliah and her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She lived in LaPlace for over twenty years and worked as a hair stylist at Shampoo Hair Salon. She cherished her work family and her clients who made her world making them beautiful.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5^th Street, LaPlace on Saturday, January 2, 2021.  Visitation will be held in church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Mass to immediately follow at 1:00 p.m.
