Myrna Jacob Berteau, a native of Reserve and resident of Garyville, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the age of 80.  She is retired from Kaiser and LaRoche Chemical.  Myrna enjoyed cooking, baking, candy making, casino trips, and family gatherings.

Myrna, a beloved mother, is survived by her children, Darin Brady, Darlinda Bourgeois (Keith “Mike”), Dacey Wetzel (Mike), Dena Gendron, and Danielle Leathers; grandchildren, Jason Bourgeois (Jennifer), Codi Heltz (Scott), Max Wetzel (Ashley), Addie Wetzel, Lance Gendron (Chris), Lane Gendron (Laura), Briana Leathers, Marissa Leathers, and Josh Smith (Danielle); and 6 great-grandchildren.  She leaves behind a loving fur baby Kiki.

She is preceded in death by her late son Dru Brady.

A private service was held in her honor.

Rose Lynn Funeral Service was entrusted with handling her arrangements.
