Face masks are required, and social distancing will be enforced.
  • Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Cemetery is hosting Church Clean-ups from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Oct. 3 and next Saturday, Oct. 10, at the intersection of East 20th and East 21st Street in Reserve. Please help preserve and restore the historic cemetery to honor and preserve the memory of those interred. Bring gloves, weed eaters and rakes to trim and edge around every vault and remove overgrown weeds, debris and ornamentations. Social distancing guidelines must be followed. Facemasks, bottled water and hand sanitizer will be available. A “documentary” will be filmed highlighting the clean-up with onsite interviews about the cemetery history and historic burials. The documentary will be posted on Facebook and YouTube. To help with the clean-up, call 985-703-2449, 504-421-7325 or 504-417-2234.
