Michael J. Bourgeois, a resident of LaPlace, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the age of 68.  He is no longer suffering and is in peace with his Lord.  He was always smiling and laughing and had a love for hunting, fishing, and cooking.

He is survived by his son, Kelsey Bourgeois and wife Stacy; grandsons, Lathan and Lawson Bourgeois; siblings, Peggy Jo Jones, Joette Malain, and Todd Bourgeois; niece, Cherie Jones; nephews, Trey and Jared Malain; and ex-wife, Gayle Alexopoulos.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Garnet Bourgeois.

A memorial visitation will be held at Rose Lynn Funeral Services on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 1:00 PM to service time.  A religious service will take place at 3:00 PM.
