Parish President Jaclyn Hotard issued a for Pleasure Bend and areas North of I-10 in LaPlace, including Frenier, Peavine and Manchac in advance of Tropical Storm Marco and Tropical Storm Laura. The order goes into effect at 1:00 p.m. August 23.

Residents should finalize all preparations and stay informed with St. John Parish by texting SJPWEATHER to 888-777, through the Parish website at sjbparish.com or the Government Access Channel and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
