LAPLACE – The St. John the Baptist Library in conjunction with the St. John Fire Department recently created a video about fire safety. Written for children, some of the topics included fire detectors, how to escape from a building, what fire fighters wear, and how they can get dressed in two minutes. The short video also includes a lesson in calling 911, where to go after escaping a burning building and how to Stop, Drop and Roll.
