St. John the Baptist Parish Communications reported that Census workers will be going door-to-door starting in August to all of the homes that have not yet responded. This will also include the homes with P.O. boxes for mailing addresses. The workers will drop off the paper questionnaire form for completion and will be wearing a mask, a census shirt and have a census ID card.

Only 56.8 percent of St. John has completed the Census. This weekend, complete the census in just a few minutes to keep someone from coming knock on the door. Remember to include everyone in your household in the Census response – this includes babies, the elderly and college students. Whomever is living in your home has a voice. Please visit my2020census.gov or respond by mail.
