The LHSAA boys basketball playoffs continued this week for three St. John the Baptist Parish teams.

• 6 Riverside Academy pulled out a 79-63 win over No. 9 Central Catholic Tuesday night in the first round of the Division IV boys basketball playoffs. The Rebels advanced to the quarterfinals to face No. 1 Crescent City Friday night. Game results were not available at the time of this publication.
• 12 West St. John fell to No. 5 Oak Grove in a nail-biting 50-52 loss in the regional round of the Class 1A playoffs Tuesday night.
• 7 St. Charles Catholic lost 46-30 to No. 2 Lafayette Christian Thursday night, ending their playoff run in the Division III quarterfinals.
