LAPLACE – The St. John the Baptist Parish Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will be administering the Volunteer Tax Assistant Program (VITA) from Feb. 11 – Apr. 9.

Appointments are necessary to participate in the program and can be scheduled from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesdays, and from 9 a.m. – noon on Thursdays. Information will be given on tax planning and preparation, returns and earned income credit.
