DESTREHAN – Fourth grade student Logan Fraychineaud will sign the National Anthem at the National Championship game tonight in the Mercedes Benz Super Dome. Logan attends Ethel Schoeffner Elementary School in Destrehan.
Coordinators for the game contacted the administrator from Deaf Action Center in early November, looking for interpreters in the New Orleans area from ages 10 to 17 to try out for signing the National Anthem. Logan was selected because the panel was impressed with his facial expressions while signing. Logan’s father, Richie Fraychineaud, made the video of him signing the anthem.
He will sign on the field with a singer Lauren Daigle during the nationally televised event. His Ethel Schoeffner family is very proud of him.
