LAPLACE — Prospective students wishing to attend St. Charles Catholic High School for the 2020-2021 school year were previously set to report for testing this weekend. However, due to the increasing warnings of severe weather on Saturday, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all, the Office of Catholic Schools has postponed the High School Testing Day to 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 18.
Please note that the placement test/application fee for walk-ins is $30 (cash/check/online). Walk-ins are welcome, and these students should report to school early at 7:40 a.m.
Lunch will be served, and SCC teachers, coaches and students will be on hand to answer questions and welcome prospective students. Students should be picked up at 12:15 p.m.
Students with the top scores on the January placement test qualify for a one-time placement test award to be used for registration fees and tuition for the following school year.
The exceptional combination of the Catholic values, the challenging academics and the active campus life makes St. Charles Catholic High School the perfect place to pursue dreams and a high school diploma, according to SCC Principal Dr. Courtney P. Millet.
“Once a student comes to SCC, the Comet Pride becomes part of your DNA,” she said.
