The St. John Animal Shelter is looking for donations of dog and cat treats and toys. Any cat toys and treats and any dog toys and treats (not containing chicken) are appreciated. The St. John Animal Shelter is located at 488 W. Second St in LaPlace and can be reached at 985-651-7387. Pictured are, from left to right, Jonah, Greta and Tori, three of the pets that are available for adoption through the shelter at PetSense, located in the Riverlands Shopping Center at 1332 W.
