BATON ROUGE – After the close of polls at 8 p.m., unofficial election results are available for the two remaining contests in St. John the Baptist Parish.

In the Parish Council District 4 race, with all 9 precincts reporting, the apparent winner is Tyra Duhe-Griffin (D) with 66 percent of the vote (1107).  Frank Alexis, Jr. (D) garnered 34 percent of the vote (582).

In the Parish Council-at-Large seat B race, with 21 precincts reporting, Michael P. Wright (No Party) has won with 50 percent of the vote (3950).  This left Marvin “Butch” Perrilloux, Jr. (D) with 50 percent of the vote (3905).

The results should be verified and made official on Tuesday, Nov. 19..
