LAPLACE — The annual Andouille Run will take place at 8 a.m. during festival weekend this Sunday. It is a 5 mile (not 5K) run and a 2-mile run/walk starting and ending at the Thomas F. Daley Memorial Park (festival grounds) on Hwy. 51 in LaPlace.

Awards for the 5-mile run will include first overall male and female, as well as various age groups and first St. John Parish Deputy and first St. John Parish Firefighter. There will also be awards for the top 15 male and top 15 female for the 2-mile walk/run.

The entry fee is $18 for each race which includes food and beverages and an Andouille Run T-shirt.
