St. Peter Fest brings family fun

RESERVE — St. Peter Fest will be held Oct. 5, bringing music, fun and festivities to 188 West Seventh St. in Reserve.

The Regulators Band will take the stage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will be followed by exciting live performances from Crescent City Soul Band, performing from 3 to 6 p.m., and the Michael Sanchez Band, rocking the stage from 7 to 10 p.m.

Starting at 11 a.m., families will enjoy pony rides, a horseshoe tournament and a video gaming truck. Set-up for a seafood cook-off will begin at noon.

Fun-filled rides on a trackless train will be available from 1 to 6 p.m. Laser tag kicks off at 2 p.m. and lasts until 9 p.m.

The evening features an impressive line-up of exciting activities, starting with a washer board tournament at 4 p.m., seafood cook-off judging at 5 p.m., cook-off sales at 6 p.m., bingo at 6:30 p.m. and a basket and raffle drawing at 7:30 p.m.

Plenty of games and booths will entertain families from 11 a.m. to the 11 p.m. closing.
