RESERVE — A Pilots for Patients volunteer will fly into the Port of South Louisiana Regional Executive Airport in Reserve at 11 a.m. Thursday to recruit more pilots for medical transportation.

Volunteer pilot Glenn Northcott understands that without more pilots, many patients throughout the state of Louisiana will be unable to seek the medical treatment they so desperately need.

On Thursday, he will embark on the daunting task of flying to every airport in Louisiana.

His flight is projected to last 20 hours, beginning in Monroe at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 8:30 p.m.

Northcott will land at the Reserve airport with just enough time to drop off PFP posters, brochures and signs in hopes of reaching more pilots.
